This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, web beacons) used by vybe.app and our marketing site. The Vybe mobile app itself does not use cookies — it uses platform-standard secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).
1. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
__session— keeps you signed in to admin / staff areas (24h).__csrf— prevents cross-site request forgery (session).cookie_consent— remembers your preference from this page (1 year).
Analytics (opt-in)
Anonymous aggregate stats that help us understand which pages are useful and where users get stuck. We only set these if you opt in.
_ga, _ga_*— aggregate web analytics (2 years).clarity_*— masked session-replay (1 year). All PII fields are masked at the SDK level.
Functional (opt-in)
theme— remembers your light/dark mode preference (1 year).locale— remembers your language choice (1 year).
2. We do not use
- Advertising cookies.
- Third-party ad-network trackers.
- Fingerprinting libraries (FingerprintJS, ClientJS, etc.).
- Cross-site behaviour trackers (Pixel, Tealium, etc.).
3. How to control cookies
In-app
Use the cookie banner on your first visit, or open Settings → Privacy → Cookie preferences at any time to change your choices.
In your browser
All major browsers let you block cookies entirely or per-site. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break login.
4. Do Not Track
We honour the DNT: 1 header. If your browser sends it, we don't load analytics regardless of your cookie consent.
5. Changes
Material changes to this policy will trigger a fresh cookie banner so you can re-confirm or update your choices.
